The Northwoods Wilderness Guide Service is located in Schroon Lake, NY, in the "heart of the Adirondacks". We cover Essex, Hamilton and some of Franklin counties, in the central and northern Adirondacks, which encompass some of the most spectacular wilderness areas and scenery East of the Mississippi!

We offer hunting and fishing trips from one-half day to five days, many with food and lodging, tailored to the client's needs. Also offered are nature/photo trips, camping, hiking, snowshoe and cross-country ski adventures. We welcome couples, plus father/son/daughter combos. Everything for the outdoors person! These are true wilderness trips, which you will enjoy, as we do, and be able to take home memories that will last forever! We give clients the opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty and abundant wildlife of the Adirondacks.
