Come to the East's most magnificent wilderness area - the awesome Adirondack Mountains, for the supreme challenge of hunting the wary and elusive whitetail deer or black bear with the weapon of your choice: muzzleloader, long gun, bow or handgun! The Adirondacks contain some of the largest whitetails in the East, with a good number in the 200+ pound class. Most of these deer are rarely hunted, much less have ever seen a human being. Chances for a good rack and a record-book deer, or bear up to 500 pounds are excellent! All our hunts are in wilderness areas, in the true Adirondack tradition. |

| The Adirondack hunting experience is not for the faint of heart! The hunt here is very rugged, with hardwood ridges, thick cedar swamps and brushy streams to tramp through. The weather can be warm and sunny, or change quickly to below freezing with heavy snow. This is remote Adirondack hunting! |

| The area we concentrate our big game hunting is in the thirty six thousand acre Hoffman Notch Wilderness Area, outside the village of Schroon Lake. Hoffman Notch has elevations from twelve hundred feet to almost four thousand feet. The terrain is very rugged and dense, containing an excellent variety of deer habitat. The area is almost virtually trailess, so you will be hunting in true Adirondack wilderness tradition. There is an excellent Whitetail and Bear population in this rugged area with an excellent chance for trophy. Of all the Adirondack counties, Essex county has the highest trophy buck take in the state. Lodging is at our facility in Schroon Lake. |
