| We fish Lake Champlain, Paradox Lake and Schroon Lake for Northern Pike and Bass, both Largemouth and Smallmouth which are present in all three lakes.
We offer 1/2 day and full day fishing on all three lakes. You will be fishing in a 17 foot Lund Pro Angler with a 50 horse 4-stroke engine that can accommodate 2 or 3 people fishing comfortably.
Fishing for Northern Pike begins the 1st Saturday in May on Schroon and Paradox Lakes, and is open year round on Lake Champlain. Lake Champlain offers the best fishing for Northerns especially early in the year, May and June, or later in the year September into November. Fishing for Northerns during the summer is a little more of a challenge but if you can get out early in the day or later in the day they are there. Our guide for fishing Northerns has over 20 years experience on Lake Champlain.
Lake Champlain Bass season begins the 2nd Saturday in June. Schroon and Paradox Lakes Bass season begins the 3rd Saturday in June.
Whether jigging for smallmouths or using a topwater lure for largemouths, not much beats the explosion of a bass as it leaps and does its dance on the water.
We do practice catch and release so we use artificial baits. It is also recommended to use barbless hooks or to bend back the barb to help give your catch a chance to survive.
Unless you are an experienced Northern fisherman we recommend that you use our equipment. We also have all equipment necessary for bass as well.
So whether you want to troll or cast for pike or cast for bass we offer the Adirondack fishing experience that you will truly enjoy.
2 day packages are also available with lodging and meals!
